This roller coaster is one of the oldest family-coaster concepts but remains extremely popular. Also known as the Caterpillar Coaster, early versions featured a caterpillar-shaped front car, and after the lift and first drop, the train traveled over small hills, mimicking a caterpillar’s movement. Due to its slower motion, it is perfect for a child’s first roller coaster. The maximum speed is around 6 m/s, and after the first drop, the motion creates excitement for both children and adults. It features a classic figure-8 configuration and is lifted by a traditional chain to a maximum height of 6.40 m (with safety). All trains from our family coaster portfolio can be used, including custom front-car molds if desired. The trailer-mounted version is one of the world’s best-selling trailer models.
